Bigger is not always better, less is not always inferior. This very Zen concept is what drove us to design the Battery, for the rider who wants to go big, but keep the bike as small as possible.

We were one of the first brands to recognize that more travel is, generally speaking, a good thing. But after years of riding big hit bikes, We started to ask the question; “could less be the new more?”

The original design brief for the battery was fairly simple, though making that into a reliable production bike turned out to be a bit more of a headache. While it might not be obvious at first glance why, take a close look at it closely and note the details that make all the difference. That makes it a Mountain Cycle.

Key Features:

  • Slopestyle specific geometry, makes this one of the most versatile and agile bikes ever made.
  • Tubular construction designed to withstand a maximum of hard-riding abuse
  • Modular dropouts for different axle setups
  • CNC’d chainstay yoke gives great tyre and mud clearance
  • CNC’d billet aluminum BB yoke for superb tracking and stiffness.
