The Reactive Link System on the Zen is designed to flex the seatstays downward during compression of the shock. This helps preserve the handling and geometry, as well as reducing the pedaling feedack. The link itself acts as a la teral stiffener to help keep the rear traingle feeeling solid in all conditions.
