   hi guys , can any one help ? i have a san andreas and need to buy a replacement rear mech hanger for it , trouble is i am not sure how old the bike is , does anyone know the part number or exact model year of the bike this type of hanger was fitted to ? I have posted some pics of it ,just hoping a fellow down hiller can identify it as its driving me nuts not having my daily blast through the woods !!!!!

   That is the older hanger of the 2 options (2002-2003ish) for the San Andreas part # 35-00004-p
   *** We are currently on B/O with this part and are looking to have a small batch built locally to fill orders.

   i have two. one is used ones new. im not sure on the year tho.
   im gonna pop into work in a bit and try dig them out

   i have a feeling it may be a newer version. but i have had them for atleast 5 years

   EDIT oh crap i just noticed your pic links. didnt see them before.. mine are different. fits to otherside of the arm.

   sorry. i just found the new one i had at work. it says san-hang 62-2000 in marker pen on the bag.
   was given it by one of my tattoo clients that works at windwave gosport uk,along a shed load of old decals.
   it looks the same as the one on my fury to me. f'all like the one i had on my old SA

    saltyman , thats the type of hanger i keep getting sent , ordered from 3 different sources and every time they keep sending this type even when i send them detailed close up pictures !!!! so fustrating oh and not to mention expensive cost me about £80 quid so far and still aint got the right 1....

    is it not possible to get the old one copied then CNC machined from anyone?

    some folk on sites regulary do this.

    forgot about these guys........BETD cycle components.

    they make allsorts for bikes, including discontinued items. i was put onto them about a brake adaptor for my san andreas before i know you could get one direct.

    they should have whatever you need on file, so well worth giving them a ring or e-mail.

    did think of getting 1 made up localy , so went through the yellow pages, but was quoted stupid prices due to the initial cost of doing the cnc program ....and didnt really want to be stuck with a run of 50 rear mech hangers as alot of companies would not entertain making just 1 !!!!!

    no, i was put onto them regarding a brake adaptor (i ended up getting one from MC), they are apparently meant to be really good for parts.
